DAY 459: CAN YOU BE MY COPYWRITER?

My last writer Miss Mullany, left two months ago to pursue her life long dream of becoming a Barista at some coffee place. Strange but true. To fill the Mullany gap, I decided to make a recruitment ad that would catch me a writer....the right writer. To achieve this, we placed a banner on Bizcommunity, in the job section which leads you to this website:

www.bemywriter.co.za

The response has been great so far!

  1. Pity you had to stoop so low to mention the actual writers name.

  2. Uh, not really sure what you're talking about... I assume you mean Miss Mullany? What's wrong with mentioning my last copywriter's name? This is my blog after all...

  4. Dear Anonymous,

Thanks you for your comment. Please excuse me if I chuckle a little at how incredibly ignorant it sounds:

From your comment, I assume you once worked at TBWA Durban. I can imagine you found it tough. Perhaps you felt you had to work too hard, perhaps you weren't paid enough, or perhaps you were just really crap at your job. Whatever the reason is Anonymous, it's really just your own fault.

It's up to YOU to make great ads, and from there it's up to your agency to make it happen. Which mine did, so I guess, thanks for the compliment.

Cheerio. Good luck with finding a job.
